Private tours can be booked for individuals, couples or small groups through the reservation of a tour van for a private party.

Availability

All private tour reservations are booked on a "first come first served" basis and are entirely dependent on the availability of a tour van for the proposed date and time. As available at the time of booking and payment.

There are currently two (2) Ford Transit-350 Passenger vans and one (1) Ford Transit Connect van that can be reserved by a private party. The Ford Transit-350 vans can each accommodate 1-14 guests and the Ford Transit Connect can seat 1-6 guests.

Included with Reservation

Reserving a van by a private party includes pickup by an experienced Guide (driver) and a narrated 3 to 3.5 hour tour including venue destinations.

Available Times

There are two sessions per day that are available. A Morning Session is 8:30 am - 12:00 noon. An Afternoon Session is 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm.

Tour Transportation

All tour guests must be transported on one of our vans as the destination locations have authorized our vans and drivers to access their private property. We are not able to have other vehicles "follow behind" or "meet us" at locations.

Pick-Up Location and Destinations

Private tour destinations (Thoroughbred farms) are the same destinations as those on the Daily Public tours. The pick-up location is also the same: 1801 Newtown Pike (Embassy Suites Hotel at UK Coldstream), Lexington, KY 40511.

Alternate pick-up locations are NOT available for Morning Session tours (8:30 am - 12:00 noon) but can be discussed on an individual basis for Afternoon Sessions (12:30 pm - 4:00 pm).

Price

Reserving one of the Ford Transit-350 vans (seating for 1-14 guests) is $620 for a single session (either a Morning or Afternoon session). Reserving the Ford Transit Connect van (seating for 1-6 guests) is $360 for a single session.

Cancellation

Please also note that the cancellation window (for refund) on Private Tours is at minimum one week (7 days) prior to the scheduled Private Tour so that we have time to work on reserving the van(s) for another party. Thank you!
